This weekend was a full weekend. It was tiring but one of the most fun weekends I've had in awhile. It was my first real test at doing photography as a job. On friday I work around 3 hours doing event photography as you saw in my last post.

Saturday was over 8 hours worth of photography. I was at the Veteran's memorial to shoot more of the pet expo and the star systems talent show. After that, started bar starz which is basically bar shots for easy cash. I did not get home till 3 am. Mixed in with everything this weekend was my first "editorial shoot"

I found out today that I am actually now a photographer for UWeekly which is a campus newspaper. Now I'm a "real" photographer, hoho. not -_-

Looking back to two years ago when I first got my camera...man, I was bad! lol. I still need a lot of work, but this weekend was a new door opened.

Anyways, so today I started school. Class wise I think it will be less work than the other quarters. I'm taking Geography 120 which is about hurricanes and global warming (see why it will be less work), Art 208 which is about 4d....time. I heard it's a joke class. I have it with April Li! And finally Art 401 which is what I'm really scared about. I just read the syllabus and I'm so intimidated. I haven't even started the class and already I have a project due next week. Oh well. This class is going to keep me busy.

Anyways, it's time to be an artist and not a photographer. It's going to be difficult switching modes because I'm such a technical shooter.

I hate cops. I got a citation today for not stopping long enough at a stop sign. After that, went to josh's house to firepit. On the way home, I was lasered 3 times, tailed by cops twice. Man....f them. Shouldn't they be looking for dangerous criminals, not people driving the speed limit.

The citation kind of ruined my night. Other than that it was a fun day. It was my first day at my internship. I got to shoot the pet expo, which wasn't that great, and the star stystems talent show, which was a lot better. I've shot animals before but I've never shot dancing. SO this was my chance to learn how to shoot them. One thing I noticed was that I had to keep my camera up to my eye at all times. In addition I had to time my shots right or the dancers would turn out weird...Here is one of my successful ones. I'm really proud of this one.Victor

Wow this past week was full of stuff.

Friday: Had an interview with the internship in the morning. (I got it! Found out today). After that, I met with Kevan, my photographer partner guy to discuss Full Circle Photography (Website will be up in a couple of weeks, stay tuned for more details). Then I picked Chris and Anna and Daniel to go meet up with Steven and Jacqueline at ritas for free ice! After that took Daniel and Anna home and met up with the rest of the gang at arirang to eat kalbi tang (for the first time) It was good!
After that we went over to easton to get xiao ding dong's gift, but they never found it until we went to target (of all places). Met up with Katie and Shing there. Josh joined us and we went over to the Chow house to watch Body of Lies. It was very good. I enjoyed it.

Saturday: Met with Jared and Katy! They are clients. They are getting married in June and Full Circle Photography is photographing them! Awesome for us and them! After hurried home to rush to church to practice for Praise Night. Then Praise Night. It was awesome, God was definitely there. I probably played the best drums I have ever in my life. It was loud and awesome. Praise God, it was good. After that we went to Chris' house and had a firepit. It was good because I got to try out the lowlight cabablilities of my new 5d mark II. And they are awesome. Just look!
Sunday: Woke up early to go to prayer meeting at church. Started at 8:30 -_- the sad thing was I was running on 4 hours of sleep and the day ended up being a full one. After church I went over to Chris' house by myself to get xiao ding dong's present. Started to take a nap but was awoken by phone call to go over to Anna's house. At Anna's house the girls made a card.
After that went to xiao ding dong's b-day "suprise" party, it was slightly "ruined" because someone ruined the suprise. Oh well, I think she had an awesome time which is what counts! Happy B-day kiddo

After the b-day dinner, we went over to Pjosh's house and watched Narnia: Prince Caspian. I didn't watch it, I ended upstairs in the loft, passed out in the carpet. Apparently I snored. haha, I'm Lord Voldemort! I can speak parsletongue too.

Monday: Headed to our "vacation" during spring break, which was Cincinnati...woo...It was actually fun! Basically the reason why we went to Cinci was to eat, and eat we did. Started off with the Sushi Buffet where we basically at sushi to our hearts content and more. Headed over to the Lim house to hang out there. Before dinner we walked over the bridge to kentucky. I got some more art shots. Ate at Montgomery Inn. The ribs were absolutely delicious!

This picture makes my mouth water......the potato was a sweet potato...so good OMG I WANT TO EAT SOME NOW.

Tuesday: Ate at Ihop, omg, I want one in columbus, so much better than waffle house. Went to the aquarium and saw penguins pooping and stuff. It was funny. At dinner at this chinese restaurant that looked like a trailer in a trailer park. Went inside, and had one of the most amazing meals I have ever had in awhile. The food was so good. We had lobster, fish, pork, bok choy, seafood pan fried noodle, fried shrimp(in the shell!), roast chicken, jellyfish, and some other stuff. Came home and now I'm writing!

During this trip I was never hungry, always full. That is right, but so wrong at the same time. I must have gained so much weight. I'm going to fast...for the sake of me and God...because I'm was a glutton.

I am so blessed. My parents are so awesome, like they love me so much, and I realized that today in full. I received the gift that I have been wanting for so long....I am forever and eternally grateful for what they did.

Anna came back today! and we were so ninja we surprised Jacqueline at Old Bag, it was good to see Jacqueline scream as she saw Anna.

Tomorrow we are going on a shooting party! not with guns but with cameras...should be fun. Ok back to studying

Sitting in the last class of the quarter....I probably missed half of my classes after midterms. I just got burned out after midterms. Oh well. I think as long as I study, I'll be fine.

my roommates are retarded, no wait, my roommate is retarded. I don't understand how someone uses so much toilet paper. Usually in a boys apartment you don't need to buy toilet paper, but in our house he uses it like 10 women. You know how usually you don't see much trash in the trash can in the bathroom. Well in our house it's always FULL. HOW IN THE HECK DOES SOMEONE DO THAT. Apparently he likes to CLEAN EVERYTHING with TP instead of using a FREAKING SPONGE LIKE EVERYONE DOES. GAHHHHH

He is 26 and acts like a immature 17 year old. GAH I....I.....I AM SO GLAD I'M LIVING WITH AN ASIAN NEXT YEAR. THATS RIGHT. IM RACIST. WHATEVER. Anyways

Weather is beautiful! Finals in one week! It's crunch time. It going to be more studying than fun. The weekend was rather fun. Victor Sung came back so I got to hang out with him. Saturday we firepitted, which brought back memories of last summer. It was fun, a different crew. Fun still. CHRIS GOT A MOHAWK! but i think he shaved it off. But i have documentation. Not very good, but oh well. On Sunday I watched "Watchmen" It was pretty good. It had a lot of...frontal....nudity in it. Not just female, but male...a blue male. Anyways. A pretty good weekend.

Ah yes, God is good. We had a good bible study today. Talked about how God is actively pursuing us. Good stuff. Spring break, I am excited for it! I'm excited for people coming back from college like Jeff and Anna. I miss them dearly. Especially their quirks...haha. Anna you know what I'm talking about and Jeff...touch me tender....

The photography is starting to take off. Full Circle Photography's website should be up soon and I just got a gig taking a documentary of some artists. Getting paid for that. I shoot the nightlife at bento for free but I get publicity as a photographer. I am going to start shooting some other bars for money after spring quarter starts during the weekend. Full Circle is shooting a wedding in June and a possible one in August. If you don't know what Full Circle Photography is, It is basically a collaboration of two photographers. Me and this person named Kevan Lin. We shoot weddings and basically everything else.

So here is my spring quarter schedule. Studio classes are back on board..I hope I don't have to spend hours and hours on them like I had to do Autumm quarter...knowing this, I probably will have to. It shall be a good spring quarter!

Lately life for me has been so blah, all around me life goes on, and I feel stuck in place...nothing is moving for me. Anyways, I guess I will push through. I turned in my STM application a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't started my testimony. I have an idea of what I'm going to write about and it's all percalating in my head.

There is basically two more week of classes. and then finals! I should be fine for finals, not too worried.

I'm so ready for this quarter to be over.....haha.
